OpenMuse.org Software User Agreement

OPENMUSE.ORG MAKES AVAILABLE SOFTWARE, DOCUMENTATION, INFORMATION AND/OR OTHER MATERIALS FOR OPEN SOURCE AND/OR STANDARDS-RELATED PROJECTS (COLLECTIVELY "CONTENT"). USE OF THE CONTENT IS GOVERNED BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT AND/OR THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF LICENSE AGREEMENTS OR NOTICES INDICATED OR REFERENCED BELOW. BY USING THE CONTENT, YOU AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE CONTENT IS GOVERNED BY THIS AGREEMENT AND/OR THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ANY APPLICABLE LICENSE AGREEMENTS OR NOTICES INDICATED OR REFERENCED BELOW. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT AND THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ANY APPLICABLE LICENSE AGREEMENTS OR NOTICES INDICATED OR REFERENCED BELOW, THEN YOU MAY NOT USE THE CONTENT.

Unless otherwise indicated, all Content made available by OpenMuse.org is provided under the OpenMuse Contribution License and is copyrighted by OpenMuse.org or a third party (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Copyright Holder"). Title to copyright in the Content will at all times remain with the Copyright Holder. Any permitted copies of the Content must retain the copyright notice, and any other proprietary notices contained in such Content. The terms and conditions of the OpenMuse Contribution License are available at http://www.openmuse.org/legal/iprights.html, which also specifies other provisions governing intellectual property use. Particular reference is made to the provisions concerned with Standards Track Documents.

CPL Content

Some of the Content made available by OpenMuse.org may be provided to you under the terms and conditions of the Common Public License Version 1.0 ("CPL"). Such Content will be clearly labeled as "CPL Content". A copy of the CPL is provided with such Content and is also available at http://www.openmuse.org/legal/cpl-v10.html. For purposes of the CPL, "Program" will mean the Content.

CPL Content includes, but is not limited to, source code, object code, documentation and other files made available through a software repository and/or as downloadable archives ("Downloads").

CPL Content may be apportioned into plug-ins ("Plug-ins") or other deliverables ("Deliverables").

The terms and conditions governing Downloads, Plug-ins and Deliverables should be contained in files named "about.html" ("Abouts"). Abouts may be located in any directory of a Download, Plug-in or Deliverable including, but not limited to the following locations:

  • The top-level (root) directory of a Deliverable or Download
  • Plug-in directories
  • Subdirectories of the directory named "src" of certain Plug-ins

Content may contain encryption software. The country in which you are currently may have restrictions on the import, possession, and use, and/or re-export to another country, of encryption software.
